Client portal

The part of your firm your clients actually see.

Everything else on this site is a tool for your staff. This is the one your clients judge you on — so it carries your logo, your colors and, if you want it, your own domain. They never find out what software you run.

A to-do list, not a filing cabinet

Most portals are a folder tree with a login. A client opens one, cannot find what you meant, and emails you instead — which is the outcome the portal was bought to prevent. Here the landing page is only what you are waiting on, and each card clears itself when the thing behind it is done.

Upload what you asked for

Document requests arrive as a short list with a state on each line, so a client can see what is still outstanding without emailing to ask. Uploads land on the client record already filed.

Fill in their organizer

Section by section, saved as they go, resumable on another device. You watch completion from your side rather than chasing a PDF around a mailbox.

Sign an 8879 or an engagement letter

In the portal, on a phone if that is what they have. Several signers in order or all at once. The signed copy files itself back to the client, locked, with an audit trail.

Pay an invoice, or set up autopay

Card or bank, online, on the invoice itself. Autopay is enrolled by the client and scoped by them — they choose what it covers.

See where their work stands

Each engagement shows a status you control the wording of. Your internal column names stay internal.

Do it all for every entity they own

One login covers the S-corp, the rental LLC and the personal 1040, with one combined list across them.

Two minutes from your client’s side

Your brand, not ours

Your logo, your color, your domain

Every firm gets a free portal address straight away. Point your own domain at it — portal.yourfirm.com — and there is nothing left on the page telling a client this was built by anyone but you.

Custom domains cost nothing extra. You also choose how much of your firm clients see: whether staff names appear on the work at all is a setting.

Signing

No second vendor to send them to

The 8879 is signed in the same portal the client already uses, not on a DocuSign page they have to make another account for. Progress is saved as they go, and the request carries an expiry you set.

Where a return needs IRS-compliant KBA identity verification, that runs here too — as a paid add-on charged per verification, not part of the seat.

Not a tier. Not an add-on.

The portal is one of 18 modules on every seat, at $129 per user per month. There is no plan that withholds it, no per-client portal fee, and no charge for putting your own domain on it.
